For the teams at Basingstoke going to a competition is serious business.  You're going to have a seriously good time!  Of course every team wants to do their best, and aims to win, but whilst you're there, it's important everyone has fun too. 

Usually we travel by coach.  (If you're good you're allowed to sit inside.  Otherwise it's in with the bags!)

Where necessary we will stay overnight, practising at the rink at our allotted time before the competition begins.

There are a number of synchronised skating competitions throughout the year - the main ones being the Scottish Synchronised Skating Championships and the British Synchronised Skating Championships.  Over the past few years Basingstoke has also had teams competing abroad as well.
