I am very pleased with the trip to Dumfries, all of the teams put 100% in and I am very proud of them all.

Snowstorm came third in the elementary category, they skated really well even though they did have a fall.

For Ice Age our adult team it was their first event, they were put together about 6 months months ago and I am very proud of them for even being ready to compete! Ice Age had a good skate although there were a few errors which cost them points, they finished 3rd and I think that this is a brilliant achievement for their first competition.

Before we left for Dumfries I knew that the Intermediate 2 category was going to be really tough, but when we got there it was even tougher than I had expected. As well as the 6 teams from the UK, there were also teams from Iceland and Italy competing in the category.
Ice Sensation had a great skate and gave a really enjoyable performance. They finished 4th only 0.11 behind Moray Dolphins in 3rd place, and only 0.61 behind Olimpia from Italy in second, It really was a close competition. I'm very proud of all the teams who all really put their hearts in to their performances and seemed to really enjoy the event.
