There have been synchronised skating teams at Basingstoke for well over ten years, and several of them have been extremely successful:  Sparkle, the Novice team, reigned as British Champions for 7 consecutive years and Storm, the Senior team, were British Champions for 4 years, earning them the opportunity to skate at a number of World Championships.

Head Coach, Fiona Harris, assisted by Nadia Sargeant, currently trains three teams, Snowstorm , Ice Sensation and Ice Age.

 

Ice Sensation and Snowstorm at the 2009 British Synchronised Skating Championships, Sheffield.  Ice Sensation came first in their category, Snowstorm 6th and coach Fiona won 2 awards for Best Skating Skills and Best Intersection.
